| Bio: | I'd very nearly written that I'm a work in progress, but that's simply a characteristic of the human condition, and I'm not one to overstate the obvious. Of course, instead of deleting that bit and going on with something more interesting, I've decided to leave it there and deconstruct it. That probably makes me come off as pretentious, as opposed to witty, which is what I was going for.
I should really start over, but I find myself beset by a masochistic streak. Right now, in this stark and terrifying moment, I want to bare my inadequacy to the world, and feel the ridicule that I so richly deserve for refusing to turn back and salvage some shred of my dignity by replacing this filth with a bland and tasteless summary of my hobbies and the names of my cats. I liken the sensation to walking naked from a cold swimming pool, and feeling the bitter futility of trying to explain shrinkage to a multitude of onlooking women... none of whom can hear my insistence that I'm adequately proportioned, over their own laughter.
The fact that I've compared my ability to compose a bio to a laughably tiny penis is indication enough that I am in desparate need of therapy. I'm entirely chagrined to admit how much time I invested in writing this bio, so I'm not going to. |
